This unintentionally removes material from one material and places it onto the other material.<\/div>\n<h2>Galling resistance with Expanite\u00ae<\/h2>\n<div>\n<p>Galling is a pervasive problem for stainless steel \u2013 even on martensitic stainless steel treated with a standard vacuum hardening \u2013 the challenges still exist. The Expanite hardening technology is proven to improve galling resistance.
