Precision Hardening Without Distortion: Meet ExpanitePureLow-T
Expanite is proud to introduce our newest low-temperature surface hardening process: ExpanitePureLow-T developed for components where precision and dimensional stability are essential.
Why it matters:

Technical highlights:
• Surface hardness > 900 HV (expanded austenite)
• 400× better galling resistance on austenitic stainless steel
ExpanitePureLow-T is a strong alternative to competing diffusion processes and coating processes such as hard-chrome plating, or friction- and adhesion-reducing coatings incl. PVD/DLC that all have shortcomings including delamination or spallation.
