For some, using an Expanite Treatment Center (ETC) is a stepping stone towards a license solution, while for the majority of customers, Expanite treatment centers are a well-proven and stable source for surface hardening and heat treating, stainless steel and Titanium. Whether single-piece handled small series or millions of components treated in bulk Expanite is globally available!

No matter the need and background, the core of an ETC is a modern, versatile capacity for surface hardening and heat treatment.

When other providers of stainless steel hardening speak about weeks, Expanite counts days – and this is while doing it most sustainably, with no use of toxic chemicals and a very low carbon footprint compared to competing processes.

Expanite has three state-of-the-art ETCs and two partner sites – strategically located in Europe, North America and Asia. Several of our customers are getting the same components processed in multiple locations, taking advantage of our multi-region approach.

To service the Chinese market, Expanite has teamed up with Kern-Liebers, Taicang nearby Shanghai, who can offer surface hardening and heat treatment solutions for stainless steel. Finally, Expanite is working with Kitech in Suncheon, South Korea on sampling for the Korea markets.

Totally, more than 15 furnaces are deployed and Expanite process are started daily at each ETC – contrary to many alternatives. More centers are in the planning.
